SKATEBOARDER TURNED QUAD LOVER !

Welcome to the interview series of my blog today we are talking about a local skateboarder turned quad skater named KV.

He is 25 and mixed with Trinidad and Honduran

Background :

Always been a full sender in almost everything I do (Airsoft, skateboarding roller skating and music) I’m here for a good time , spread good vibes and love.

How does the community make me feel?

“Man, it makes me feel hella loved. I can run into any skater (even the ones I don’t know) and automatic bond and genuinely vibe with heavy. Every skate event I’ve been to gives off great vibes. Definitely makes me feel like I’m part of a family. I have roller skaters who haven’t met me yet but follow me on ig and they are showing me mad love as if I grew up with them.I love it here.”

What got you into roller skating?

“Erica, Mya, Annie, Aqua and Angela.

Skating with Erica and watching her shred with skates caught my attention. I found it crazy how y’all can do the same things I was doing on my board but with skates attached to your feet. The concept of not being able to bail out had me shook. Eventually they all kept telling me that I would I be amazing on skates if I was to give it a try. So I did and here I am. One head injury later 🤣”

KV’s energy is unmatched at the skatepark. He has only been skating in quads for two and a half months and is already doing things it takes people months to master! It is truly inspiring seeing someone switch over and genuinely fall in love with the sport.
