As I get deeper into this skating world I feel so many different aspects of skating. I love to dance and park skate. But some people are not into park skating and that is ok. Some people are not into dance skating and that is ok. I find a lot of new skaters feel intimidated by not knowing certain things or moves in both spaces. That is ok. Everyone progresses at their own pace. I find their is not a lot of spaces for people to learn with no judgment. So me and Aaron (@slow_smooth_sk80 and LP (@shrimpfriedpapi) collaborated on a disco night for the community at holiday park in Ft Lauderdale. Aaron provided all the production and made sure we had good music and good vibe while sharing his knowledge of footwork and movement around the rink. LP brought her amazing video editing skills and good vibes and the bubbles ! :0 I had provided a selfie station so people were able to take cute pictures with friends ! We created a safe space and over 50 people came and skated with us on that beautiful humid Friday night. I truly love the power of social media and how it can bring skaters together to learn new things and have a good time. I wanna personally thank Greg (@gre.vo) and bringing his dance moves and camera to capture these moments in real time to share with the community and make everyone feel special and appreciated. I wanna thank everyone who came out despite the hot weather and had a good time no matter what! All wheels and all people is all I want continue to capture and spread trough my blog and contuine to be the bridge for skaters to come out and try new things.
